ABOUT SARAH

Sarah Hickey is a Melbourne-based multi-disciplinary filmmaker (and voiceover artist) across commercial and narrative works, with strong ambitions to ultimately end up in the series direction space.

Based out of Melbourne, Sarah is one of three founders of Melbourne-based production company Monster & Bear, where she is currently working hard to build her “film family”, support other directors on the company’s roster, and develop narrative series concepts.

A wearer of many hats, Sarah’s skillset extends across to Creative Direction (conceptualisation), Film Direction, Script Writing, Voiceover Work, and Business Management. The global pandemic has taught her a lot about the importance of remaining open-minded and nimble when it comes to whatever future opportunities come her way.
